Llwyndyrys provides high quality 24-hour residential care for 26 older people, including individuals living with dementia. Our team of highly skilled and empathetic staff care enormously about our residents and are integral to the friendly and warm atmosphere here at Llwyndyrys. Many of our staff are Welsh speaking.
Llwyndyrys Care Home is set in magnificent surroundings next to the River Teifi, situated on the A484 between the villages of Cenarth and Llechryd, 5 miles from Cardigan. The elegant Manor House which has been sensitively extended to maintain the stateliness of the home is set in ten acres of land. The home provides the comfort and ambience that a person would expect to find at home.
Person Centred Quality Care
Llwyndyrys provides a safe, homely environment for people living with dementia, ensuring the care we provide supports residents’ freedom of choice.
We aim to maintain their life-skills, improving their self-esteem and helping them to maintain and develop their independence while they are living with us. Keeping in touch with family and friends is important, our Wi-Fi access allows residents to connect and talk to their loved ones.
Training at all levels has been the key driver for Llwyndyrys with an ongoing training programme that has helped to build a dynamic team of caring professionals.
The Registered Manager and her team strive to deliver the best care possible for their residents, which is reflected in the day to day running of Llwyndyrys and the inclusion of resident, families and friends. We have strong links with the local GP services and supporting professionals ensuring we are able to deliver first class healthcare.
We have an excellent Inspection Report from Care Inspectorate Wales.
